Can I cut my LED rope light?
Any LED rope light length above 16 metres can be cut and modified if necessary. The LED rope light has cut marks every two metres but you will need to purchase an end cap and power lead from our accessories section. If you plan on cutting your LED rope light we would advise you to contact us for advise before proceeding.
Can I use LED bulbs with a dimmer switch?
Unfortunately the majority of our LED bulbs cannot be used with a dimmer switch. Unless stated otherwise on the listing description, a dimmer switch cannot be used with the item.
Can LED rope light be left outside?
All of our Rope light is 100% waterproof and can be left outside all year long as its completely sealed at both ends. The rope light is not submersible and should be plugged into a RCD protected socket outlet if used outdoors
Can you control multiple colour changing bulbs with one controller?
Our colour changing bulbs can all be controlled via one controller. There is no limit to the number of bulbs which can be controlled via a controller however the control will only work within a 5 metre distance of the closest bulb.
Do you ship overseas?
We welcome overseas orders but advise you to contact us before purchasing any items so we can provide you with an accurate shipping cost.
How do I power my strip light?
Unless stated otherwise all our LED strip lights are sold without a 12v power supply. All our LED strips have at least a one metre power lead with a positive and negative wire ready to be connected to any 12v supply. If you require a 12v power supply for the item they can be found in our "offers" section.
How many LED strips can be powered of a 12v power supply?
If you require a power supply we would advise you to contact our sales team before proceeding with your purchase as we have various power supplies available to suit any size of project. We will then advise you on which power supply will be correct for your purchase.
Is the LED strip light Waterproof?
All of our LED strip light is 100% waterproof and safe to use in water related projects. Obviously you must always keep the connection to the mains / 12v away from the water but it is completely safe to submerge the LED strips under the water if required.
What colour bulbs should I purchase?
We stock a wide variety of bulbs in Warm White Or Day White colour. All of our bulbs emit excellent light output but its important to get the correct colour to suit your home or establishment. Our Warm White bulbs are perfect for replacing old halogen bulbs as they are a soft white colour with a yellow tint similar to that of a halogen. Our Day light bulbs emit a pure white light giving a colour similar to the daytime.
When should I expect my item?
We offer a free next day service on any item being delivered to a UK address. All purchases must be made before 13.00pm to guarantee this next day service.
When will I receive my refund?
We offer a full refund on any item purchased and will process your refund as soon as possible. All items will be delivered with a returns form which must be filled in and sent back with the item. Once received and the return form has been viewed the refund will be processed immediately.
